Feels alot like Christmas

I'm starting to get that itch....this has to be my favorite time of the year. Family, christmas decorations, twinkly lights, carols, and who could forget all the hot chocolate and dainities!!!! I would have to say that my favorite thing about Christmas is just being able to see all the family that you don't get to see on a regular basis. Growing up Christmas was always a big thing in my family. We would spend Christmas Eve with one set of grandparents and Christmas afternoon with the other. Now that I am married and have children tradition has changed a bit but not much. We spend Christmas Eve with my husbands family and Christmas Day with mine. There is no greater joy than seeing the smiles on the faces of your children.
This year things are being done much differently....which makes it all that much more exciting for me! Baird's grandmother is going away for Christmas so instead of the traditional Christmas Eve gathering we will be celebrating on the 6th of December, and since my family is going to Mexico in January for my brothers wedding we will not be leaving the city this year. Baird's parents will be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us in our home. This leaves me with emotions on both sides of the coin. I have always wanted to have Christmas at our house so I am very excited for that, but this is also the first time ever that I will not be having any Christmas with any of my family.

So the countdown is on in my house.....18 days until the tree goes up!!!!!

You should be happy with what you have.....

Wow...some people have nothing better to do than to complain about everything! Ya I wish my life were perfect too....unfortunately that is not how life goes! There are so many people out there that would love to trade you shoes! They have kids with lukemia or a son or daughter that has been in a horrific car accident, or even those that have to hold there baby as it dies...and all you can do is complain about the simple little things in life that you can change! You should be happy with what you have....sure somebody else may have something you think that you want, but all you are looking at is what is on the outside!

O well, what is life when can't complain about what you don't have!

Happy Hump Day!!!!!

Wishing you all a safe and happy Halloween

Just waiting........

There is nothing worse than sitting around the house waiting for someone to return your phone calls. I am patiently waiting to hear back from my realtor as well as my lawyer and I am slowly coming to the end of my rope! Sure they are busy people to, but the least they could do is return you calls. The realtor was supposed to send stuff to me hours ago and I still have not received anything from him. As for the lawyer, well I have heard nothing from him....I guess if nothing happens by Monday I will be on the hunt for a new lawyer. However, they are both male and I am sure they don't see the need in getting back to a "dumb" female that probably does not even know what she needs!

I take that last statement back.....this is just me ranting

I hate housework!!!

So I get up this morning thinking that for some strange reason the cleaning fairy would have come through the night....what a sad dissapointment that was! Not only did she not clean up lastnight, but I think she left a bigger mess.

Everybody always says a clean house is a sign of someone that has to much time on their hands. That may be the truth but I am always finding myself cleaning, and spare time is not something I have alot of. Some days I just wish that my children would clean up after themselves, or my husband for that matter! Ya I know you are all probably thinking that I am a stay at home mom I should not make such an issue out of t
his as that is what stay at homers do. In away that is true, but I have a job to. I run a small daycare out of my home and most of my time during the day is spent with the little guys. My days start early and ends late, with babies coming at 7:00 and not leaving until 6:00. Then my kids hit the door at 4:00 with homework and friends, supper needs to be prepared and the hubby is home for 6:00. Clean up, finish homework, baths and bedtime. Make lunches for the following day, finally time to kick back and relax with the man you love. O wait, I forgot to do the laundry!!!

Let's get caught up.....

It's crazy how time can get away from a person!

I used to keep an updated blog all the time....but as the kids got older and I got busier I could no longer find the time to blog.

Hopefully that will change now.

Where to start....

As the kids continue to grow I am finding myself extremely busy. Between soccer, piano and bowling there are not many nights I find myself sitting back with my feet up and enjoying the quiet. But honestly what is a mother without the razzle-frazzle of everyday chaotics right! I love to be busy and my kids and husband make sure I am. No complaints here.

Right now I am a stay-at-home, as well as a daycare provider. However in January I am starting a new venture! One that I am very excited and passionate about. I have purchased a local floral and wedding decorating business. This decision did not come easily to me as I love to be at home for my children. But as a group we decided that it was okay for me to move in a new direction.

That's my very brief update for today....duty calls
